Current and Former Staff
Paris Saint-Germain has appointed Christophe Galtier as its new coach. Galtier, 56, has signed a two-year contract with the French champions.
Trophy Success
Since its inception, Paris Saint-Germain has had 32 managers, 18 of whom have won at least one trophy. Luis Enrique, the former Spanish coach and player, is the current manager.
Galtier's History
Galtier previously managed Nice and Lille in France and also had a brief spell in charge of the Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande. He has won the Ligue 1 title twice, with Lille in 2021 and Nice in 2017.
PSG's Expectations
PSG's new sporting director, Luis Campos, said the club expects Galtier to "bring a new dynamic to the team" and "win trophies."
Key Challenges
Galtier's key challenge will be to get the best out of a squad that includes some of the world's top players, including Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar. PSG will also be competing in the UEFA Champions League, where they have never won the title.
